The UcL was formed in 2000 and currently has about 45 members. It aims to improve and care for the appearance of the village and to make a contribution to village life. |
It organizes events in the village — above all the celebration of the Swiss National Day on 1st August — and supports a number of projects. |

Current projects |

|
Sulom patern A directory of the Romontsch names given to the meadows, fields and woods within the village boundaries in oral tradition. The project is planned to be completed by autumn 2008 and the results will be published on this website and in a separate booklet. Our village A collection of oral history, photographs and recordings documenting the past and present of Ladir. |
The old paths of Ladir Before the introduction of the motor vehicle into Canton Graubünden in 1925 and for some time thereafter the life of a mountain village such as Ladir depended on the paths and tracks that had been established over centuries. This project will document these routes and the results will appear stage-by-stage on this website from the summer of 2007 onwards. |
